The FR COATING sealant has been designed to enhance, seal and protect mineral fibres against fire. It is based on a durable single-polymer system with inert fillers, non-halogenated fire retardants and a preservative to resist microbial attack. It is applied by direct spraying on the mineral panels.

FR COATING provides a white, flexible and solid surface finish. During the installation of mineral panels, the seal reduces lamination and increases the stability of the surface for the application of the adhesive and the fixing seal.

The FR COATING paint offers fire protection solutions for up to 240 minutes.

Application

Rated for all types of constructions with or without penetrating fire compartments.
Quick and easy to install.
Additional fire compartments easy to add after installation.
Flexible: It moves during the fire, and makes smaller movements in the construction on which it has been installed.
Suitable for most surfaces: concrete, brick, masonry, steel, wood, plaster, glass, plastic and most non-porous surfaces.
Suitable for unlimited lengths on walls and heights up to 1200 mm, on floors with widths up to 1200 mm.
Suitable for frameless plaster walls around the opening.
Halogen-free with additional fungicides.
Once dry, it resists moisture and frost.
Use with FR Acrylic around the fire compartments.
Not designed for bituminous substrates or substrates that can extract certain oils and plasticisers or solvents.
It should not come into contact with food or medical applications.
Not recommended for submerged joints or areas exposed to high abrasion.
